My article was published!
After my blog has started getting a few genuine page reviews, I thought I will post my first ever piece of wring that got published and was somewhat appreciated by a few learned guys. The year was around 1990 and the magazine was "Patliputa Newsletter". An in-house SBI magazine from Patna Circle that always carried updated events and pics of CGM/GMs and brief profile of the children of the staff who had achieved 80% and above marks in some exam.
In order to add credibility to my tall claim, i am attaching the scanned copy of the magazine pages. It would be apparent from the color of the pges that history has been preserved!
Note: I also received a cheque of Rs.250 from the LHO as token of by humble contribution to the magazine. The then Editor-in-chief was Rakesh Verma, a close friend, had also attached a small letter of appreciation which was concluded somwhat like this:
......... we are hopeful that you shall be contributing to the magazine in the future also with more such articles !!!
as if i am going to board a train again while seeing off someone. And if by mistake i repeat the feat, i wouldnt be there to contribute my Full of Life articles.
